We are a group of 4 from Toronto & Hong Kong taking a 7 days trip around Colombia in November 2018. We joined an amazing company called Colombia Travel Operator. The trip was tailor-made to us which covered places like Bogotá, Coffee Area, Medellin, Cartagena and Mompox. Kelly Botero, the charming beautiful young lady who we have corresponded since day 1 and till the end of the trip has been fascinating.

Overview of your tour
Our Bogotá City & Monserrate Tour begins in the famous historic center of the capital, La Candelaria. Your guide will spin you the tales of Bogota’s rich history as you wander through the streets of this quaint neighborhood. After visiting the world’s largest collection of pre-Hispanic era gold pieces (over 55,000 works in total!) at the Gold Museum, you’ll make your way to the top of Monserrate Hill via cable car. Here you will enjoy the vast vistas provided by Monserrate’s incredible height. The peak of this hill hosts a variety of artisanal shops that are full of knick-knacks to remind you of your time in Bogotá or allow you to share your Colombian experience with someone else!
Please note that the Gold Museum is closed on Mondays. If your tour happens to be on a Monday, don’t worry — we’ll find another fantastic museum to visit, such as the Botero Museum, or another activity that suits you to fill the time.
Though this is the classic route that we recommend, please do not hesitate to let us know upon booking what interests you! We are more than happy to alter the itinerary to incorporate other sights that you would like to see or places you would like to visit.

I would like to give special thanks to Kelly for planning my itinerary for Cartagena and Bogota – she also arranged my airport transfers in both cities, my full day tour in Cartagena was amazing! We fell in love with the walled city, such beautiful buildings and great restaurants. Kelly gave us some really good restaurant recommendations and we also enjoyed the trip to fort San Felipe.
Amazing tour and amazing tour guide (Julio)! My first tour in Colombia and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The sites were amazing and the food was incredible. Thanks to our guide Julio for going above and beyond to making sure we had a great time.
This tour was amazing! We ended up getting our own private tour with Julio (awesome guy). The ride was fun, great conversations, a lot of history and knowledge…
We had a great time on this tour. We were only two persons in the tour and our guide Juan Carlos was fantastic…
